$37K IRS Debt Paused with Currently Not Collectible Status

In August 2025, a client carrying a $37,604.24 IRS debt across three tax years (2021–2023) came to Cheshier Tax Resolution for relief. After evaluating the client’s financial situation and submitting the necessary documentation, we successfully obtained a “Currently Not Collectible” status. This designation immediately halted all IRS collection activity, including levies and garnishments, and gave the client the breathing room they needed to rebuild financially.
